Conservation Nebraska, in partnership with First Star Recycling, invites you to the First Star Recycling Center Tour. See the inside of their recycling facility and get the inside scoop on what happens to your bottles and cans after they get hauled away. You will have the opportunity to tour the facility and get your recycling questions answered.

This free tour will be led by Dale Gubbels, founder and former president, CEO, and Director of Business Development of Firstar Fiber Recycling.

Wear closed toed shoes and clothing appropriate for cool temperatures. Please note: due to the industrial nature of the facility, we ask that one or two adults accompany attendees under the age of 12.

Upon arrival, use the entrance closest to 102nd street near to the blue recycling bins, and look for the Conservation Nebraska feather flag. Park in the visitor lot.
