Project Energy Nebraska
Project Energy Nebraska (PEN) is a collaborative project that involves Conservation Nebraska's Common Ground Program, UNL's Environmental and Sustainability Studies program, and ICLEI, a non-profit whose mission is to support local government efforts to use more sustainable practices.
The goal of this project is for teams, comprised of UNL students and Common Ground AmeriCorps members, to collaborate with communities across Nebraska to inventory their energy use and greenhouse gas emissions and to initiate the development of community energy and emission reduction plans.
