Program Expansion
Conservation Nebraska was awarded an AmeriCorps grant in September 2017 to expand our Common Ground Program. We brought on ten AmeriCorps members, who served as community organizers. Through the utilization of AmeriCorps members, Conservation Nebraska took Common Ground state-wide, expanding our geographic reach.
Thanks to AmeriCorps, we were able to continue to grow the Common Ground Program between 2018 and 2023. We currently host AmeriCorps members across the state and are engaging Nebraskans in conservation-focused programs.
