About the Event
Get excited for the 2026 Conservation Summit!
The Conservation Summit is a day where youth, community members, and professionals come together to learn about local environmental issues and discuss solutions. Whether you're looking to learn more about what's happening in your community or connect with people working to make a difference, this event is for you.
This year's summit will be split in two parts. The morning will be dedicated to high school and college students. There will be workshops covering topics like how to get civically engaged, how to organize around an issue, and learn about local environmental issues impacting our city and state.
In the afternoon, the summit opens up to the broader community while continuing to welcome youth participation. Attendees can join expert-led breakout sessions covering topics such as clean energy, water quality, urban agriculture, and civic engagement.
Throughout the day, there will be opportunities to network with local organizations and connect with people from across Nebraska who are working to build a healthier, more sustainable future.

9:30 am to 1:15 pm — Youth Conservation Summit
1:15 pm to 5:30 pm — General Conservation Summit
