Engaging with Public Power: Advice and Updates Regarding OPPD
Join Conservation Nebraska and Omaha Public Power District (OPPD) Director, Eric Williams, on Monday, September 14th from 6-7 PM at the W. Clarke Swanson Library (Meeting Room 1) for a discussion on important updates regarding OPPD as well as insights on effective engagement with the utility.
OPPD is in the process of creating their Integrated System Plan (ISP), which is a long-term resource and strategy plan that helps determine how the utility will meet generation needs and plan for customer flexibility and Distributed Energy Resources (DERs). As OPPD progresses into the late stages of their ISP process, Director Williams will provide an overview of what the ISP is, the progress made so far, why it’s important to provide feedback to the utility, and how decisions made during the planning process may affect OPPD and their customers’ futures.
This event will be held both in-person and online, with a period for Q&A following the presentation.
