Big Muddy Urban Farm Tour, Discussion & Service Activity
Join Conservation Nebraska, in partnership with Big Muddy Urban Farm, for an exciting tour, discussion and hands-on activity at Big Muddy Urban Farm.
Attendees will get an inside look at Big Muddy Urban Farm, participate in a hands-on service activity for the farm, and learn how Big Muddy Urban Farm sustainably manages water, soil, and waste.
This free tour will be led by Aaron French, Executive Director of Big Muddy Urban Farms.

Light snacks will be provided. Attendees should dress comfortably, wear closed-toe shoes and weather appropriate clothing that can get a little dirty.

Speaker Bio:
Aaron French is a native Omaha leader and advocate in the urban agriculture space. Through nearly 15 years of leadership experience in urban agriculture, food systems, and community food security, he has helped build a more equitable and sustainable food system for the Omaha area. Additionally, Aaron spent 8 years managing an urban farming education internship program for high-school and college-aged students, where he taught Omaha youth the fundamentals of urban farming and furthered his mission of making experiential urban agriculture education more accessible.
