Join Conservation Nebraska and the Crane Trust for a free educational event with Megan Launchbaugh and Elsa Forsberg.
This event will give an overview of the March Sandhill Crane Migration, what it is, why it matters, and the conservation work that places like the Crane Trust do to support it. Elsa will specifically discuss some of the scientific monitoring that is done to guide conservation work, including insight into the "crane counting" flights conducted weekly in the spring.
