Join Conservation Nebraska and Dr. Katja Koehler-Cole, the Statewide Soil Health Management Extension Educator, for an informative and interactive event on composting!

Questions about composting like where do you start and how do you start? Join us in-person at the Barbara Weitz Community Engagement Center on June 22nd from 4 PM - 6 PM. We will have a two-part event. The first half will feature a presentation from Dr. Katja Koehler-Cole discussing composting and how to get started. There are many options to start composting and what that looks like, join us to learn what might mean for you. We will follow the presentation with a composting activity led by Dr. Koehler-Cole.

Katja teaches and researches soil health and regenerative agriculture practices. Katja also serves as teh SARE start coordinator, helping raise awareness of sustainable agriculture resources, including funding through the SARE program, and co-leads UNL's participation in the Transaction to Organic Partnership Program.
