Guided Hike Series #2: The Science of Autumn
Join Conservation Nebraska and Prairie Pines for our new Guided Hike Series! We will spend our November hike learning about the science of autumn. We will conduct a simple science experiment to learn about the colors in autumn leaves, and we will venture out on our hike to observe the changes in the forest as we wind down towards winter.

This series is recommended for ages 8+, but is open to all ages. Each month, we will plan for a 30-40 minute hike as well as a short lesson based on the day's theme, so please use your best judgment! Make sure to dress accordingly with the weather for the day and bring a water bottle to stay hydrated during our hike.
