Potluck + Speaker Series: A Guide to Nebraska's Wetlands with Ted LaGrange
Join Conservation Nebraska and the Crane Trust Nature and Visitor Center as we welcome Ted LaGrange from Nebraska Game and Parks Commission. Ted will be showcasing some new films about Nebraska’s amazing wetlands and highlighting the newly printed “Guide to Nebraska’s Wetlands.”
The presentation will cover an overview of Nebraska’s amazing wetlands and talk about their benefits and the efforts to being done to conserve wetlands. Participants will learn about the recently completed “Wetlands of Nebraska Outreach and Education” project and will get to see some film clips from the project and will be given a copy of the recently printed “Guide to Nebraska’s Wetlands”. We will conclude the event with as showing of the film “Riverine Wetlands of Nebraska."
Supper begins at 6:30, speaker at 7. Bringing a sharable dish is encouraged but not mandatory for attendance. Silverware, plates and drinks provided.
