 avid cyclist and the City Manager for BikeLNK\, Lincoln's bikeshare system
 . After receiving a graduate degree in Community and Regional Planning fro
 m the University of Nebraska-Lincoln\, Hunter worked for Felsburg\, Holt a
 nd Ullevig as a transportation planner before making the jump to the nonpr
 ofit world with BikeLNK. Since assuming this position\, Hunter has provide
 d free bikeshare to Lincolnites in need via the ChainLiNKs free-and-reduce
 d-cost-pass program\, spoken for local organizations and nonprofits about 
 the bikeshare program\, and contributed to bikeshare nationally at the ann
 ual North American Bike and Scooter Share Conference (NABSA).\n\nAlex rece
 ntly joined Lincoln Parks and Recreation as their Planning and Constructio
 n Trails Manager. He works to ensure Lincoln continues to see success with
  its award-winning trail network that hosts over 1.6 million trips per yea
 r. Previously\, he worked at the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission to fur
 ther develop\, improve\, and maintain NGPC’s network of land and water tra
 ils and administered the Recreation Trails Program for the State of Nebras
 ka. Alex also worked at the Nebraska Tourism Commission (NTC) where he hel
 ped communities and destinations discover and develop ecotourism opportuni
 ties.
