 Nebraska in volunteering at Creighton Preparatory School's rain garden\, l
 ocated on Western Ave just west of 72nd Street! Rain gardens are a beautif
 ul and cost-effective way of maintaining outdoor spaces that experience hi
 gh levels of soil saturation or water pooling. Rain gardens help reduce ru
 noff\, filter out pollutants\, and provide food and shelter for wildlife. 
 \n\nVolunteer tasks will consist of pulling smaller weeds by hand\, diggin
 g out larger weeds\, and other general garden maintenance tasks. We have a
  small supply of gloves and garden tools available\, however\, we encourag
 e you to bring your favorite trowel or gloves if desired. Water and light 
 snacks will be provided.\n\nIn the event of inclement weather\, this event
  will be cancelled\, but stay tuned for our July rain garden event! Please
