X-WR-CALDESC:Join Conservation Nebraska on May 5th for an in-depth presenta
tion exploring the inner workings of microplastics and nanoplastics in our
everyday lives.\n\nDr. Kazi Albab Hussain\, a postdoctoral researcher at
the University of Nebraska- Lincoln\, will explain how plastic containers\
, food pouches\, and even laser-treated surfaces shed microscopic particle
s\, raising health concerns. With a strong background in water quality\, h
eavy metal contamination\, and nanoparticle science\, Dr. Hussain is at th
e forefront of understanding pollution on the tiniest of scales.\n\nDon't
miss this chance to learn how microplastics impact you—and what we can do
about it.\n\nRegister in advance for this webinar:\nhttps://us02web.zoom.u
 s/webinar/register/WN_dGR6vTD2TEGGZyeqmSEtvQ\n\nDr. Kazi Albab Hussain is
a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln. He specia
lizes in the release of nano and microplastics from plastic packaging unde
r real-life conditions. His research employs experimental studies\, system
atic reviews\, and meta-analyses to focus on the implications of nano and
microplastic ingestion for human health.\n\nHe holds a PhD in Civil Engine
ering (Water Resources) from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln\, a Master
’s in Civil Engineering (Environmental Engineering) from Florida Atlantic
 University\, and a Bachelor’s in Soil\, Water\, and Environment from the U
niversity of Dhaka. His work has contributed to a deeper understanding of
human exposure to microplastics and nanoparticles.
