World Wildlife Day Celebration

March 3 @ 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm

World Wildlife Day is a yearly celebration that happens on March 3rd to recognize the wild fauna and flora that make our planet special. It is the most widely recognized day dedicated to our wildlife. In 2022, the theme for World Wildlife Day is “Recovering key species for ecosystem restoration.” This theme aims to focus on the species that help build our ecosystems up, as well as the endangered species that may be lost if we do not take action.
Celebrate this year’s World Wildlife Day by Conservation Nebraska for a webinar featuring speaker Caroline Jezierski. Caroline is the Program Manager for the Nebraska Game & Parks Natural Heritage Program. She is also a part of the Natural Legacy Project, which seeks to implement plans in conserving some of Nebraska’s native and endangered species. Join us to learn more about the species that support the ecosystems in Nebraska, as well as how you can help conserve them.
